Ceri Limbrick
Paula Belby

Ceri Limbrick is the Playgroup Leader and is the registered person.  Ceri has owned and managed Westend Playgroup since 2008 and worked within the setting prior to this.  In her absence, Paula Belby is the deputising Leader.  Ceri is trained at CCLD Level 5 in childcare, and in health and safety.

Paula is the Deputising Leader and has worked within the setting since 2011. Prior to this, Paula was involved in Mental Health and Social Care for vulnerable adults and the elderly.  Paula also works 1:1 in school supporting children with additional needs.  Paula is qualified at CCLD Level 3 and and is enrolled on level 4 Preparing for Leadership and Management in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development.. Paula is a mother of three and a basic welsh speaker.

Elaine McBride

Elaine is qualified at CACHE Level 3 in childcare and has worked within the setting since 2010 and worked previously in a large creche on a military base in Germany.  Elaine is trained in health and safety.  Elaine is a mother of three and is experienced in working with children of different ages.

Ruby Price

Ruby holds a BA in Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies Level 6, and level 4 Preparing for Leadership and Management in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development. Rubyhas almost 15 years' experience working with small children, including being a private nanny and in nursery settings as a practitioner and a manger.  Ruby has 2 young children of her own. 

Michaela James

Michaela is a mother and grandmother who joined th team in April 2025. Michaela is undertaking CCLD Level 3. Michaela has extensive experience as a foster carer, understanding and meeting the individual needs of children.  

In addition to her fostering experience, Michaela has worked within primary school settings, where she supervised and supported children across a range of activities. This has given her a strong foundation in early years education and a keen awareness of the importance of encouraging children’s curiosity, independence, and social development.

 

Gill Jones

Gill joined the team in July 2026. Prior to this, Gill worked for 8 years at a local primary school, working primarily with children aged 3 to 5 years. Gill is qualified to Cache Level 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning & will be undertaking CCLD level 3 this year. Gill is also a mother and grandmother.
