Our Team

Ceri Limbrick

Ceri Limbrick is the Playgroup Leader and is the registered person.  Ceri has owned and managed Westend Playgroup since 2008 and worked within the setting prior to this.  In her absence, Jane Ward is the deputising Leader.  Ceri is trained at CCLD Level 5 in childcare and in health and safety.

Jane Ward

Jane is the deputising Leader and has responsibility for SENCO.  Jane has worked within the setting for more than 20 years.   Jane is qualified at CACHE Level 3 in childcare and is learning BSL.  Jane is a mother of three, and grandmother of two.

Elaine McBride

Elaine is qualified at CACHE Level 3 in childcare and has worked within the setting since 2010 and worked previously in a large creche on a military base in Germany.  Elaine is trained in health and safety.  Elaine is a mother of three and is experienced in working with children of different ages.

Lucinda Williams

Lucinda Williams joined the team for the start of the September 2020 term.  

Lucinda is a BTEC qualified Nursery Nurse with 20-years-experience of working with children in various settings, including 12 years as a childminder. Lucinda has also achieved CCDL Level 4,   Lucinda is a mother of two.

Paula Belby

Paula has worked within the setting since 2011 and prior to that was involved in Mental Health and Social Care for vulnerable adults and the elderly.  Paula also works 1:1 in school supporting children with additional needs.  Paula is qualified at CCLD Level 3 and is learning BSL.  Paula is a mother of three and a basic welsh speaker.

Ruby Price

Ruby holds a BA in Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies Level 6 and has almost 15 years' experience working with small children, including being a private nanny and in nursery settings.  Most recently, Ruby was a manager of a small creche in Cardiff. Ruby has 2 small children of her own. 

Atiya Hamonda

Atiya Hamonda is mother of a young child, and joined the team for the start of the September 2023 term.  

Atiya has a Foundation Degree in Performing Arts.  Atiya has worked for Superstars teaching music and drama, following the school curriculum.  Additionally, she has worked and volunteered for many amateur and professional dramatic companies teaching drama and dance to children aged 3-16 years.  Atiya has also worked in schools as a Learning Support Assistant, and also provided 1:1 additional support.
